This pendant is created from a natural crystal of the
mineral fluorite. The interesting octahedron shaped crystal
(8 sided) is wrapped in sterling silver and hangs 1” from
the 20” long box style chain. The crystal is a
purple color. This item comes gift boxed.
Fluorite is, among other things, the Illinois state mineral.
These crystals were mined in southern Illinois (Hardin County).
Fluorite comes in cubical and octahedral shapes and ranges
in color from colorless to purple, green, yellow, violet, blue,
